"Okay. When you're done, wash your hands and have some porridge. I made it." Ashley Bowen couldn't hide the pride in her eyes as she said those last three words.
Aaron nodded and walked into the restroom. At the same time, Ashley Bowen pushed open the door to the hospital room.
Yuri Sinclair was already sitting up, looking at a magazine.
The one thing Ashley Bowen admired about him was that no matter the time or place, his love for books and magazines never diminished.
"The porridge is ready." Ashley Bowen carried the bowl over, sat on the edge of the hospital bed, and offered it to Yuri Sinclair.
But Yuri Sinclair didn't move his hands, his gaze still fixed on the magazine. "My hands are full."
"Then..." Ashley Bowen didn't know how to react for a moment, thinking he was throwing a tantrum and refusing to eat.
After a few seconds, she smiled. "Alright then, I'll feed you."
With that, she scooped up a spoonful of porridge, blew on it, and brought it to his lips. "Say 'ah'."
