Ashley Bowen was soaked, and all she wanted was to duck under the umbrella for cover.
It was the middle of summer break, so there was no reason to be at the university so often, but her situation was different.
"I'm studying for my graduate school entrance exams. So, of course, I came to the university to study," Ashley Bowen explained casually.
But her explanation didn't satisfy Yuri Sinclair.
Yuri Sinclair's expression darkened even further. He barely parted his thin lips, forcing out a single word, "Liar!"
The word wasn't spoken with much force, but on this cold, rainy night, it felt like a sharp blade plunging into Ashley Bowen's heart.
'I'm not lying!' Ashley Bowen wanted to argue.
But Yuri Sinclair had already turned his wheelchair around and ordered Aaron, "Get me out of here."
Ashley Bowen scrambled after them, running through the rain to catch up to Yuri. She grinned and reached for the umbrella in Aaron's hand. "Let me hold the umbrella for His Highness."
