Around noon, Holly Winslow saw Anna Willow post a status: "It just means they don't really care about you."
She had obviously gotten into a fight with Zeke Zane.
Mortimer Quincy, with his excellent eyesight, saw her open her chat window with Anna Willow, apparently about to check in on her.
Him: "..."
His survival instincts kicking in, he snatched her phone and stuffed it straight into his pocket, chiding gently, "Don't use your phone while you're walking."
Holly Winslow glanced at his pants pocket and explained, "I was going to ask Anna what's wrong. It looks like she got into a fight with Zeke."
She reached for it, but the scoundrel kept his hands in his pockets, blocking her.
Mortimer Quincy said nonchalantly, "You're overthinking it. Zeke was just in the group chat saying he's going to take Anna to the movies."
Before Holly could answer, he added, "Don't you have tutoring this afternoon?"
