Julian Carlton came over and saw Holly Winslow with her head down, assuming she was being scolded. He glanced over a few times, but figured it wasn't his place to intervene, so he turned and went into the classroom to tell the rowdy students to settle down for their afternoon nap.
Mortimer Quincy raised his wrist to check his watch. 1:28 PM. There were still forty minutes until class. "Go tell Mr. Carlton I'm taking you out."
"Go out for what?" Holly Winslow tilted her head up, a sliver of her fair neck peeking out from her red scarf before she quickly shrank back into it. It was too cold.
Mortimer Quincy chuckled and reached out to pull her scarf a little tighter. "What else could it be?" he teased. "I'm worried if my wifey doesn't get her milk tea today, she'll be climbing over the school wall again tonight."
Holly Winslow was speechless.
She glanced around, quickly jabbed him in the side, and muttered a weak threat before going to speak with Mr. Carlton.
