He Ziqian looked intently at Lü Bijun.
"Are you serious?"
Lü Bijun nodded.
He Ziqian shoved her aside, got out of bed, and walked into the bathroom.
Soon after, he emerged, already washed and dressed. He left without a backward glance.
Lü Bijun lay motionless on the bed. She stared blankly at the ceiling.
Hearing the sound of the door closing, her eyes quivered.
'It's over!'
The next time He Ziqian saw Lü Bijun was in a restaurant. He spotted her the moment he walked in. An elderly woman was sitting across from her, saying something.
He Ziluo saw him come in and waved.
He Ziqian walked over and saw that his table was just one over from hers.
They were sitting back-to-back.
"What took you so long? I'm starving," He Ziluo said.
He Ziqian glanced at his sister's pregnant belly. "If you were hungry, why didn't you order first? No need to wait for me. Something came up and I got delayed."
He then quickly called a waiter over.
