A shopping trip for two had turned into an outing for five.
After they all introduced themselves.
One of Gao Wei's friends looked at He Ziluo and said, "He Ziluo, why does that name sound so familiar?"
Gao Wei quickly changed the subject. "So, where should we go for fun?"
"Weren't we talking about going ice skating? But are these two lovely ladies up for it?"
Gao Wei looked toward He Ziluo. "We were originally planning to go ice skating at Shichahai. Is there anything you two want to do instead? We'll go with whatever you decide."
Zhang Jiali glanced at He Ziluo. "Ice skating sounds fine."
Seeing that He Ziluo didn't object, Gao Wei agreed.
They took a bus to Shichahai together.
When He Ziluo had come out, she hadn't expected to go ice skating, so she wasn't prepared. Gao Wei and his two friends, on the other hand, had all brought their own skates.
But there were skates for sale right outside the rink.
He Ziluo and Zhang Jiali each bought a pair.
