A flicker of movement crossed Qin Haize's brow. He was stunned, too.
It was a long moment before he could speak.
"You said you love me."
He Ziluo averted her gaze, unsure how to face Qin Haize.
She turned to open the car door and get out, but Qin Haize grabbed her.
Qin Haize unbuckled his seatbelt and pulled He Ziluo onto his lap.
He Ziluo was completely flustered.
Sitting on Qin Haize's lap, she suddenly didn't know where to put her hands.
Qin Haize gazed at He Ziluo with deep affection, their faces nearly touching.
"You finally admitted it."
Looking into Qin Haize's eyes, He Ziluo gradually calmed down.
She looked away and pouted. "You backed me into a corner like this. What else could I say? I can't really go back to being strangers with you, can I?"
Qin Haize smiled at her, his heart softening, and pulled her into a hug.
He Ziluo bit her lip, then reached out and hugged him back.
On the way back, Qin Haize never let go of her hand.
