"Is the supermarket still hiring?"
He Lang looked at her. "Who wants to work there?"
Xue Yue jutted her chin. "My sister-in-law's nephew."
He Lang frowned. It wasn't that he had anything against Zhang Qian's nephew; he just remembered Zhang Qian's brother and sister-in-law, especially the sister-in-law. He didn't have a good impression of her.
"Did your sister-in-law ask you?"
Xue Yue shook her head. "Heh, no. The kid asked me himself. He said he wanted to come help out at the supermarket, and I couldn't really refuse. I have to consider my sister-in-law's feelings, after all."
"If that's the case, then just let him come." He Lang figured it was no big deal. One more person or one less wouldn't make much of a difference.
"Okay, I'll swing by tomorrow and let him know. He can come with Xing Jun the day after tomorrow."
"Mm."
After they went to bed, He Lang said to Xue Yue, "I'm thinking of buying a motorcycle. It's more convenient than taking the bus."
