Ares had just finished carefully bathing Lu Xiao when he heard a knock on the door.
She was so exhausted she had fallen asleep.
Ares casually threw on a bathrobe, stepped out of the room, and opened the door to find the recovered Longba and his friend standing outside.
Startled to see Ares emerge, the two men froze for a moment before quickly speaking. "Your Excellency Ares, hello. We came to thank Her Excellency Lu Xiao for treating me. I've completely recovered now."
Ares wasn't surprised by the purpose of their visit. "It's not a convenient time. She just fell asleep. I'll pass on your gratitude to her. Alternatively, you can come back tomorrow morning."
Hearing this, the two men immediately said, "Of course, of course. Thank you, Your Excellency Ares. We won't disturb you any longer. Please let Her Excellency Lu Xiao get some rest."
Without another word, the two of them departed in a hurry.
