"I'm sorry..." Eleanor Bishop bit her lip, lowering her head even further. "I can't deny what happened in the past. Since you hate me so much now and don't want to see me, I'll leave right away. I swear I'll never show up again and be an eyesore."
"..." Archie Lockwood stared at her coldly, his eyes devoid of any warmth.
When Archie Lockwood didn't respond, Eleanor Bishop assumed he agreed. She gingerly placed her feet on the floor and, propping her hands on the sofa, prepared to stand up.
But suddenly, in the next second, Archie Lockwood shot up, leaned over, and trapped her small frame on the sofa with his arms. His thin lips curled. "Want to pay me back?"
