Amelia Avery lay in her hospital bed, her head throbbing as she looked at the three men standing in the room.
Aiden Avery pointed at Leo Joyce and Cassian Jennings, roaring angrily, "Both of you, get out!"
"Brother-in-law, I'm the one who saved her. Why should I leave?" Leo Joyce, completely unfazed, spoke cheekily as he walked directly to the bedside, sat down, grabbed an orange, and started peeling it.
Aiden Avery irritably shifted his focus to Cassian Jennings. "What about you? Why haven't you left?"
"Aiden Avery, do you think I want to be here?"
Amelia Avery was both anxious and angry. "Brother, stop acting crazy! I'm the one who asked Cassian to stay with me." 'It had been so hard to convince him to stay. If my brother ruined it now, what would she do? How else was she going to personally expose Gia Miller's true colors right in front of Cassian?'
With a nonchalant lift of his brow, Cassian Jennings walked over to a nearby sofa and sat down.
