A dozen minutes later, outside Jeju University, atop a tall building near the edge of campus, a woman stood with her arms crossed, her cold gaze fixed on the bustling school grounds below.
From a distance, she looked just like a jade statue.
A gentle breeze swept by, causing her skirt to flutter. In the chilly air, glimpses of her fair, smooth skin could be seen in the biting wind.
"I told you to protect the school, not to slaughter the innocent. With everyone in a panic, who's going to clean up this mess?"
Just then, a clear and serene voice slowly sounded by the woman's ear.
The voice wasn't loud, but it struck her like a clap of thunder, making her whole body tremble as she immediately dropped to her knees.
"Master, spare my life!"
"When did I tell you to call me Master?"
As his voice fell, a tall, slender figure appeared behind the woman. His eyes were cold, revealing no hint of his mood.
