Just as Gu'er was taking out her key to open the door, Sun Jiaming opened it from the inside.
"Oh? Did you know I was coming and decided to greet me? We're so close, why are you being so formal?"
Li Zhi teased Sun Jiaming.
"No matter how close we are, I still have to greet you when you arrive. Otherwise, who knows what you'd say about me."
Sun Jiaming retorted, then added, "I just got back myself. I saw Gu'er wasn't home yet and was just about to go pick her up."
Gu'er gave Sun Jiaming a sweet smile.
"I knew you weren't that thoughtful. I mean, seriously, do you two have any shame, acting like this in front of a single guy like me?"
Li Zhi grumbled. He was happy for Sun Jiaming and Gu'er when he saw how good they were together, but he couldn't deny the slight pang of jealousy in his heart.
"If you feel so bad, go find a girlfriend yourself. Didn't you say you met a really pretty one last time? You even said she was prettier than my Gu'er."
Sun Jiaming teased Li Zhi.
