By the time they reached their peak, Gu'er was still panting, but she ignored her exhaustion. She got out of bed, grabbed the prepared basin, filled it with water, and cleaned herself.
"Aren't you tired?"
Sun Jiaming's chest heaved as he asked. He knew Gu'er liked to be clean, but this was a bit much—washing herself without even taking a moment to catch her breath.
"What do you think?"
Gu'er gave him a coquettish glare.
'Tired? Of course, she was. Her entire body ached. But she couldn't worry about that now. She knew that if she didn't wash up right away after they finished, the chances of getting pregnant were high, and she wasn't ready for a child yet. So, no matter how exhausted she felt, she had to clean herself immediately. She couldn't tell Sun Jiaming the real reason, though. He'd surely overthink it.'
