Susan Caldwell had been certain she would ruin Vera Xavier's reputation this time. However, the situation had developed in a way that completely defied her expectations. She had spoken so brazenly that she had backed herself into a corner.
A smirk played on Vera Xavier's lips as she looked at Susan. "If you won't say it, I'll say it for you."
She paused, then slowly recited, "That day, you personally saw me follow that student, knock him unconscious, and then take all sorts of liberties with him. After that, I triggered his heart attack. To cover up my crime, I pretended to know first aid and called an ambulance. I thought my plan was perfect, but I didn't realize heaven had eyes, allowing you to witness all of my wicked deeds!"
When she finished, her eyes turned cold. "Is that how it went?"
Susan Caldwell opened her mouth, wanting to offer an explanation, but those were the exact words she had just spoken. Everyone present had heard her.
