Aaron Cheney chimed in from the side, playing along. "She's the daughter of the Minister of Commerce? I have a weak heart, don't scare me!"
"Why would I scare you?" Jack Judd said with a grin. "But I heard that identity of hers is fake. She's a phony!"
In the past, Susan Caldwell would never have worried about her identity. No matter who she was with, she always felt she was the rightful young lady of the Caldwell family.
But ever since she met Vera Xavier, she couldn't stand to hear the word 'fake.' After all, she really was one.
Skylar Crowe shouted from the side, "What phony? My Susan is the one and only, honest-to-god daughter of the Minister of Commerce, the young lady of the Caldwell family! If you all keep spouting nonsense, I'll call the police and have you all arrested!"
