The elegant private room was completely secluded from the main dining hall. Amidst the soothing ambiance of piano music, top-tier, air-freighted ingredients were neatly arranged in the buffet area. At their table, Alaric Norwood sat in a high chair, flanked by Silas Norwood and Celia Sterling, who were personally feeding him.
Silas Norwood shelled a cooked shrimp, cut it into small pieces, and placed it on Alaric Norwood's plate. Alaric's chubby little hand picked up a small piece of shrimp and held it to Silas Norwood's lips. Silas Norwood hesitated for a moment, then took a bite, his tone gentle:
"You eat it, sweetie."
He paused, then added in a low voice, "Mommy's not very hungry either, so don't try to feed her."
Alaric let out an "oh" and began to enjoy his meal by himself.
'Whether it was the texture or the cooking style,' he thought, 'there wasn't much difference from the food at home. The only thing different was the setting.'
