After a light rain, Celia Sterling visited the Lowell Residence once more.
Adeline Lowell had left work early to personally greet her.
"You said on the phone you had something very important." Adeline Lowell smiled and took Celia Sterling's hand, leading her toward the estate. "You even specified it had to be in front of my mother. I can't imagine what it could be, but let's get you inside first."
Celia Sterling paused and said softly, "I'm not in a rush. Two others came with me."
As she spoke, she pointed to an executive vehicle in the distance.
Adeline Lowell looked over and saw the rear doors of the vehicle open. Silas Norwood and Kian Sterling stepped out, one from each side.
The two men ambled toward the Lowell Residence's main gate. One was bewitchingly handsome, the other aristocratically cool. In an instant, their presence seemed to make the gloomy, rain-washed sky above the entrance itself shine brightly.
