Some tribespeople had even started to ask if the house-building team was still looking for people. Wu Yue found it both funny and exasperating; her people would do anything for a bite of meat.
She walked up to her and said, "They're putting on the roof now, so I can't help. I'll make wild vegetable balls with you."
To be honest, Wu Yue really disliked the taste of the wild vegetable balls. Raw wild vegetables were just smashed and squeezed into balls, and the resulting flavor was something she really couldn't compliment.
But as time passed, she seemed to have grown accustomed to it. She'd even start to miss it if she went too long without eating it.
'How pathetic of me...'
The woman seemed a little embarrassed. "Yue, could you watch my little cub for me? We've run out of wild vegetables, so I'm going to go borrow some."
Wu Yue paused for a moment, then smiled. "I have plenty of wild vegetables at my house..."
