Wu Yue, however, was staring blankly at the full bamboo bag of dandelions on her floor. 'Looks like another busy day ahead.'
"Yue, are you up?"
Qingcao's call from outside snapped Wu Yue out of her daze.
She got up and opened the door to see Qingcao peeking her head through the small gate by the steps, looking around.
Seeing Wu Yue come out, a huge smile spread across her face. "You guys won yesterday, so you must have brought back a lot of wild vegetables. I came to help you with them."
With that, she opened the small gate herself and skipped over to the front door.
Wu Yue gave her adorable friend a grateful hug. "Qingcao, you're the best! I was just worrying about how I was going to handle so much food by myself."
Giggling, the two of them went inside and dragged out the full bamboo bag of dandelions.
Wu Yue spread some large leaves on the ground in the courtyard and began to meticulously sort through the pile.
