The next morning, Zoe Yates sat up in bed, rubbing her groggy head. Her clothes were still on, she wasn't under the covers, and she hadn't even taken off her shoes.
"That damn Sarah. She didn't even cover me with a blanket before she left. What if I catch a cold?"
Zoe Yates sniffed the stench of alcohol on herself, grumbled to herself, and got out of bed.
She went to the bathroom for a hot shower. Feeling much more comfortable, she dried her hair, put on her wig, grabbed a clean set of clothes from the wardrobe, changed, and headed out.
Zachary Redgrave had barely slept a wink last night. When he heard movement from Zoe Yates's room, he felt a pang of guilt. He stealthily opened his door a crack and poked his head out.
"Morning, Redgrave."
Zoe Yates was just coming out of her room, and she greeted him with a smile.
Zachary Redgrave sized Zoe Yates up, feeling a bit awkward as he opened the door fully. "Morning. How did you sleep last night?"
