Raylo nodded silently.
The two of them lingered no longer, turning to leave the palace steeped in death and sorrow. They retraced their steps, returning to the start of the Rainbow Bridge.
As they stepped back onto the Rainbow Bridge, Mage Morpheus immediately approached.
"How did it go?"
He asked.
Raylo took out the golden feathers from his Spatial Bag.
"We found this."
When those golden feathers, emanating an aura of Divinity, appeared before Morpheus.
"This is…"
"The Angel of Death…"
He spoke the name, syllable by syllable.
"Although I was already certain of this Light Deity's identity, I had been hoping we were mistaken until we found proof."
"But now, there's no room left for wishful thinking."
His voice carried a hint of exhaustion.
He turned and pointed in another direction along the Rainbow Bridge.
"You've come at a good time."
"Nancy has made an important discovery."
