Sylvia Vaughn changed her shoes and walked in, her expression wooden.
"What's gotten into you? You used to cling to Joanna the moment you saw her. Why are you so quiet today?" Yvonne Vaughn asked, puzzled.
Sylvia Vaughn froze for a moment, then gave Joanna Jacobs a perfunctory nod. "Hey, Joanna."
After that, Sylvia Vaughn didn't look at Joanna Jacobs again. Instead, she let out a tired yawn. "Mom, Aunt, I'm a little tired. I'm going to take a shower and go to bed. Good night."
Without another word, Sylvia Vaughn turned and went into her room, not forgetting to close the door behind her.
Yvonne Vaughn and Sylvia's mother exchanged a look, stunned.
"What's wrong with her today? Why isn't she being affectionate with Joanna anymore?" Yvonne Vaughn didn't understand.
