Seth Quinn's face was devoid of expression. He gave her a faint nod. "Thank you for your concern, Miss Jennings."
Clara Grant had already opened the door. Without waiting for Faye Jennings to say anything more, Seth Quinn stepped into the room.
Since Clara had already called Holly Summers to let her know he was coming, he didn't have to worry about intruding.
Holly Summers's voice came from inside. "President Quinn."
Seth Quinn's voice followed, and though it was still calm, it was much gentler than his tone with Faye Jennings just moments ago. "Mm, have a seat."
Worried that Holly Summers might feel awkward, Clara Grant turned to Faye Jennings, gave her a quick nod as a farewell, and was about to go inside when Faye Jennings stopped her.
"Clara!"
Clara Grant turned her head, looking at her in confusion. "Is there something else?"
