Clara Grant moved quickly. She was back outside the operating room in less than twenty minutes.
Not long after she arrived, the "In Surgery" light went out, and the doors to the operating room opened.
Rowan Linden and the lead surgeon were the first to emerge. After waiting for so long, the doors had finally opened. Clara Grant should have been the first to rush forward and ask about the surgery.
But she found herself subconsciously rooted to the spot, unable to move. Her expression seemed calm, but her hands, tightly clutching the hem of her clothes, betrayed her anxiety and fear.
'Yes, she was afraid. She was so afraid... afraid of hearing bad news!'
Miles Quinn, River Sterling, and Linden Jennings strode over, their eyes fixed on Rowan Linden. Linden Jennings was the first to speak. "How is he?"
Though he appeared composed, his voice was laced with concern.
