Clara Grant's gaze shifted from the jacket draped over her to Seth Quinn's face.
When he was awake, this man was always cold and domineering, the picture of aloof arrogance. But while he slept, much of that fierceness was gone, leaving him with a surprisingly peaceful and serene aura.
Clara Grant glanced down at the jacket again. 'I never thought he could be this considerate,' she mused.
When he was awake, she never dared to get too close. She was afraid his intimidating aura would harm her, and she was afraid of those deep, bottomless eyes that seemed to capture one's very soul.
But now that he was asleep, Clara grew bolder. She quietly sat up and leaned closer to him.
'He really is handsome,' she thought. 'Those eyelashes... they're longer, curlier, and more beautiful than any woman's.'
'And that high-bridged nose... even plastic surgery could probably only hope to achieve a result like this.'
'And his skin is so smooth and flawless...'
