Seth Quinn paid no mind to Clara Grant's comfort. He grabbed her by the arm, dragged her into the bathroom, and shoved her into the tub. He then turned the shower knob to cold, drenching her in a sudden, harsh spray.
The sudden shock of cold water on her feverish body was too much to bear. Clara Grant couldn't help but wrap her arms around herself, letting out a low shriek before roaring, "Who is it? What bastard is doing this to me?"
Hearing her call him a bastard, the icy expression on Seth Quinn's face hardened, and his voice became bone-chilling.
"I'm helping you!"
He was, in fact, helping her. He was just using a gentler method.
'Yes, gentle!'
'Compared to getting into bed with her to "cure the poison," a cold shower was obviously the gentler option!'
