After a drowsy afternoon, she reapplied her makeup and went downstairs. As she reached the hotel entrance, the sight of Charlotte Young walking toward her made her stop in her tracks.
"Miss Ainsworth, you didn't reply to my texts and you blocked my calls. So, I had no choice but to come find you here."
Nora Ainsworth pretended not to see her and kept walking, passing her without stopping.
Charlotte Young turned and quickly grabbed her. "Nora Ainsworth, wait."
Nora Ainsworth quickened her pace, completely ignoring her.
Nora walked ahead while Charlotte chased after her, growing breathless. Watching Nora enter the film set, Charlotte had no choice but to return to her car.
By the time Nora Ainsworth finished filming, night had fallen. Just as she left the set, she saw Charlotte waiting for her at the intersection again.
As she passed, Charlotte Young grabbed her arm. "Nora Ainsworth, I'm not messing with you this time. I really need to talk to you about something."
