「The next day.」
Cecilia Adler was heading to class when she ran into her father-in-law at the main gate.
She greeted him as she usually did. "Dad, were you looking for me?"
Jim Quincy said after a moment of thought, "I've sorted out what happened yesterday. I also threw your brother-in-law out and told them they're not welcome here anymore. You should move back in today. It's not as comfortable living outside as it is at home." He assumed Cecilia was angry and wasn't planning on returning.
Cecilia Adler immediately distanced herself from the decision. "I never asked you to punish my brother-in-law. If he wants to move back in, I won't object. I'm just quite busy for the next few days, so I can't agree to your request. Let's talk again after this busy spell."
Jim Quincy frowned. "Busy with what? Hasn't Teacher Kent's class ended?"
