Xu Qing and the others watched with their own eyes as those refugees were tackled by the walking-corpse-like monsters and then torn apart, eaten alive.
In a way,
the scene was incredibly jarring. It was like something out of a zombie apocalypse. After their bizarre transformation, the refugees were just like zombies.
