Daisy Woods had just said this when she opened Wendy Lawson's social media feed.
Wendy's post from last night had no picture, just a single sentence. No wonder Daisy hadn't seen it when she was scrolling through her phone; it was just too inconspicuous.

A post like that, even if Daisy had scrolled past it, would have most likely been ignored.
After all, in their circle, gushing over each other was common. It was nothing new, and no one really took it to heart.
"The Young Miss? Who is that? Weren't you at that restaurant you booked for dinner last night?" Daisy Woods asked. "And I saw you posted on your platform about a couple who got engaged?"
Wendy Lawson nodded. "Yeah, I met her at that same restaurant. It was such a coincidence!"
Seeing that Wendy's excitement seemed genuine, Daisy grew curious. "You still haven't said who it is. Do I know her?"
