The steam from the hot spring had given Nina Walsh's face a charming, rosy flush. But after what Jessie Sterling just said, the color drained from her cheeks in an instant. Just as quickly, a deep crimson blush of embarrassment flooded her face.
'How am I supposed to explain this? I'm not related to Roman Lynch and the guys by blood, so how can I be more familiar with them than Serena Lynch, their actual sister?'
"…I was just sharing some interesting stories from my time studying abroad with the guys." After a long pause, Nina Walsh managed a strained smile. "They studied abroad before too," she said to Jessie Sterling, "so they have a lot of experience I can learn from."
Jessie Sterling said, "Oh," nodding as if she actually believed her. "You're quite the diligent student, then! You know, Lynn, Luna, and I all studied abroad, too. Anything they know, we also know."
