Listening to Qin Mei's distant yet polite thanks, Jie Jingchen's gaze darkened. He felt a sense of unease.
"Fourth Brother, aren't you eating?" Jie Jingshan asked.
"I've already eaten." Jie Jingchen smiled. Seeing Jie Jingshan happy lifted his spirits as well.

After they finished eating, Qin Mei took the aluminum lunchbox to the kitchen to wash it.
