The doppelganger dodged to the side, but the sharp blade still sliced through the hem of her skirt.
RIP—
Following the tearing sound, the demonic shadow once again transformed into a long blade and slashed toward the doppelganger's arm.
The spot where the skirt had been torn was rapidly corroded, the effect spreading outward.
The doppelganger's pupils contracted. She immediately swung her sword, slicing off a large chunk of her own skirt and revealing the white undershirt beneath.
A rune flashed, and the doppelganger vanished. When she reappeared behind the demonic shadow, a bolt of Purple Cloud Divine Thunder came crashing down on its head.
BOOM—
As the bane of all evil creatures, the Purple Cloud Divine Thunder was also effective against the demonic shadow.
The demonic shadow was greatly alarmed. It retreated at high speed, barely managing to dodge the Purple Cloud Divine Thunder.
In just a few breaths, the two had already exchanged several blows.
