Kunlun holds an extremely important place in Donghua's history. It's known as the ancestor of all mountains and the source of all Dragon Veins. Legend says it is the channel connecting heaven and earth.
However, everything about Kunlun is merely the stuff of legend. Even its true location has never been confirmed. The current Kunlun Mountain Range in the Donghua Northwest Territory was simply designated as such by an ancient emperor searching for the mountain. Whether it is the Kunlun of myth has always been a subject of debate.
Nevertheless, that mountain range has an extremely high altitude, treacherous terrain, and a unique natural environment. Beneath the mountains lie numerous undiscovered caves, and there are said to be many areas with chaotic Natural Magnetic Fields. Even with modern technology, it has never been fully explored, making it an extremely mysterious and forbidden land.
