Renee Jennings's heart trembled as she looked at Naomi Kenway uneasily. "What are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. After doing so many terrible things, aren't you afraid of a little karma?"
Renee Jennings clenched her fists, staring darkly at Naomi Kenway. She held back her anger, mindful of Naomi's status.
"If I've done something so terrible, then spell it out."
"That would take far too long to list."
Renee Jennings's heart leaped into her throat. Naomi's vague attitude made her extremely uneasy. Countless possibilities flashed through her mind, including the worst-case scenario. 'Does Naomi know something...?'
She gazed at Naomi's confident expression as fear and worry churned within her. Her words came out weakly, "I'm not going to stoop to your level."
With that, she took Nathan Lynch and left, her steps rushed and disorderly, her face a mask of turmoil.
