He chuckled again. "How did I become a child in your eyes?"
Naomi Kenway said, "I didn't mean it like that. You've never been on a reality show before, so I'm a little worried you won't be able to adjust."
Ethan Shaw nodded, looking pensive. "Actually, I am having a little trouble adjusting."
Naomi Kenway paused, surprised. "But didn't you just say you'd memorized the tasks?"
Ethan Shaw said calmly, "I did memorize them, but I'm really nervous since this is my first time on a show like this." He seized the opportunity to take Naomi's hand, saying with mock seriousness, "I've never been in a situation with so many cameras pointed at me. You have to stay right by my side."
Feeling the warmth of his palm, Naomi's heart inexplicably skipped a beat. She asked, "Really? You don't seem like the type to have social anxiety."
Her tone held a hint of suspicion, but she didn't pull her hand away.
