Christina Lynch let out a short, mocking laugh. "Let me be blunt. You made Nathan's life miserable. How can you have the nerve to show up in front of him like nothing happened? That whole affair was a complete mess. For old times' sake, I didn't make things hard for you. I expect you to show our family the same courtesy. We're doing just fine, and we don't want outsiders interfering." His face hardened. "Especially not someone with your lack of morals. I won't have you being a bad influence on my son."
