Naomi Kenway felt the woman before her looked a little familiar, but she couldn't quite place her. She hesitated before tentatively asking, "Have I seen you somewhere before?"
"No, but..." The woman smiled, a hint of pleasant surprise in her eyes. "I've seen the variety show you were on. The way you... took such good care of the children, I'm really so grateful to you."
Naomi was a little confused by the "thank you."
"I'm going to go change my clothes first." After saying that, she went to the changing room. A moment later, she came out wearing a durable, stain-resistant work uniform.
The person in charge of teaching them was a highly experienced master baker. He was calm, patient, and not at all arrogant, meticulously guiding them through every detail.
Only Naomi and the other woman were in the baking room. The woman spoke in a soft, gentle voice, so Naomi couldn't help but chat with her a bit more.
