"What contract could possibly be more important than our child?!" Naomi Kenway couldn't hold back her anger. "As Ian's father, you've never even attended a single parent-child activity. Don't you think you're failing him? What do you think our son wants? Do you really think those expensive gifts you bring him every time are what he needs?"
"I went to pick Ian up one time and saw the other kids excluding him. Do you know why that is?"
Ethan Shaw didn't answer. Naomi Kenway took a deep breath. "Because we're never there, the other kids at his preschool treat Ian like a 'feral child,' an 'outcast'! Ian is quiet and has no friends. Haven't you ever wondered why?!"
