The staff member was at a loss for words for a moment.
Renee Jennings was much calmer than Chelsea Raines. "We really can't figure out how to pitch the tents. Please, could you help us?"
Margaret Jennings also spoke sincerely, "This can't go on. It doesn't matter as much for us, but are the children supposed to sleep sitting up? There are snakes all around here..."
At a nod from the director, a staff member explained and demonstrated the process.
It was like a lightbulb went on for Renee Jennings, and she thanked him profusely.
"It's nothing. It's getting late, so you all need to complete the task as soon as possible," the staff member said before getting up and leaving.
Renee Jennings understood, but the other two didn't. They asked a couple of questions, which Renee Jennings patiently answered at first, but then she focused on her own tent.
