"Old Mercer, I've come to discuss something with you today." The village chief said, nervously fiddling with the box. "This gold... it's from Rorschach."
The couple showed only a flicker of surprise before quickly replying, "If Rorschach gave it to you, then you should keep it. You helped him so much back then..."
"No, it's not for me personally!" The village chief picked up the gold coins. "Your son's intention was to use this money to help the village children with their education."
"No wonder," Old Mercer said, the realization dawning on him. "I was wondering how you suddenly had the money to continue your sponsorships." He still didn't pay the gold coins much mind.
