"That many...?!" the waitress cried out in shock.
"Don't you have that many in stock? It's fine if you don't. I'll take whatever you have on hand!" Lin Li said to the utterly astonished waitress.
"My apologies, that was unprofessional of me. Mr. Lin, we do have that many pearls. Please, follow me..."
The waitress composed herself, gestured forward, and led the way to the restaurant's backyard, bringing Lin Li before a newly built warehouse.
"This backyard of your restaurant... I remember it wasn't this big before, was it?" Lin Li asked quizzically, looking around and noticing the yard was much larger.
"That's because the Shopkeeper bought the neighboring yard and knocked down the wall between them. That's why you'd feel the yard is much bigger than before, Mr. Lin," the waitress explained with a smile.
