"Meow…???"
The Little Black Cat and the Little White Cat tilted their heads, looking at Zhou Tongtong, whose face had gone pale with fright. They let out a confused meow.
They didn't understand why this little human was so scared. This big rat was a delicious meal!
The two stray cats wanted to thank Zhou Tongtong for the delicious beef she had given them yesterday.
So, early this morning, they had set out to find a gift for her. They managed to catch this tasty morsel just before she arrived, intending to present it to her.
"Get that big rat away from me!" Zhou Tongtong shrieked, her face white as a sheet.
"Meow…" The Little Black Cat and the Little White Cat looked at each other, confused. Then, the Little Black Cat picked up the large rat, ran into the bushes, and placed it under a big tree before returning.
When Zhou Tongtong saw the Little Black Cat carry the rat away to a spot she couldn't quite see, the color began to return to her terrified, pale face.
