In the living room, Lin Li and Su Yue, having just finished lunch, were sitting on the sofa eating chilled watermelon.
"CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP…"
Lin Li picked up a large slice of watermelon and took huge bites. In just a few moments, he had finished the entire piece.
Su Yue spat a seed into the trash can. Watching Lin Li grab another big slice from the fruit bowl, she said, "Lin Li, you don't spit out the seeds when you eat watermelon?!?"
"Spit out the seeds? What a pain! It's not like they're bad for you, and they'll be out by tomorrow anyway…" Lin Li answered casually.
Then, he took huge bites of the watermelon in his hand, swallowing the seeds along with the flesh.
