"Daddy, don't be so blunt," Reina West said, coyly trying to stop Martin West.
"West, I'm already married," Kenneth Yates replied, putting down his utensils with a very serious expression.
The expressions on Martin West, Reina West, and Frances Taylor's faces all froze. Reina West managed an awkward smile, looking at Kenneth Yates in disbelief.
"Kenneth, you... you must be joking. How could you possibly be married?"
"If you don't believe me, you can ask my father. You and he are good friends." Even though it was Reina West who had asked the question, he directed his words to Martin West, a clear sign of his dislike for her.
"We haven't made it public simply because my wife wants to live a quiet life. That's all. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave." Kenneth Yates stood up and left the West Family home without a single glance back.
