Back then, Tsuchimikado Kazai, the Heaven-Reaching Daoist Lord of Japan, had gathered the Twelve Divine Forms passed down through his family since ancient times. By leveraging a live broadcast to stir Japan's Great Trend, he artificially created a true "Deity"—the culmination of generations of Yin Yang Masters' highest ambitions and a feat rarely seen in history.
However, this artificial Deity was swallowed whole by Yi Beidou, who then used his Demon Flame to forge the Demon-Suppressing Seven-Star Needle and pin it down in his Dantian. Later, Yi Beidou discovered that this Deity could act as a sort of "Substitute Ghost," allowing him to transfer and share a portion of the powerful backlash from using Celestial Demon Dissolution.
His trip to Japan had been so successful largely thanks to this Deity.
And because it had absorbed the backlash from Celestial Demon Dissolution twice, this Deity had nearly faded into nothingness.
