The difficulty of refining the Cyan Spirit Pill was higher than that of the First Revolution Nourishing Viscera Pill but lower than the Three Revolutions Nourishing Viscera Pill. Its effects were also between the two, making it a transitional elixir.

However, when it came to refining the third and fourth organs, its effects diminished greatly. If one were to take a Three Revolutions Nourishing Viscera Pill at this stage, the elixir's effects would be a bit too potent and not quite suitable.
This was where transitional elixirs like the Guiyuan Pill, Qi Replenishing Pill, and Cyan Spirit Pill came in. Their medicinal effects were more suitable. While aiding in tempering, these elixirs also nourished one's Essence Qi, providing excellent nourishment for the body.
