After driving Zheng Yanfei here, Lin Ping planned to buy a few things to take back to her hometown.
However, she noticed that her niece had been a bit distracted for a while now, seemingly lost in thought.
So, after they parked the car and took the elevator from the underground garage to the first floor of Wanda Plaza, Lin Ping teased her with a gentle smile.
"Fei, what are you thinking about? You're so spaced out. Did I interrupt a date with your boyfriend by asking you to come out this weekend?"
"Huh?"
Zheng Yanfei was taken aback for a moment before quickly waving her hands in denial.
"No, no! I just had a date with him a few days ago. He's been pretty busy lately."
"Oh? What's he busy with?"
Lin Ping asked casually, but the question startled Zheng Yanfei. She was about to answer honestly, but on second thought, she told a white lie.
"His studies, I guess."
"I remember you said he goes to the same university as you?"
"That's right."
