Over the past several hundred years, Lin Hua, Old Waller, and the others had built quite a few houses on Zexing's surface.
However, every trade has its master. Even a Star God wasn't necessarily a good home builder. Constructing houses that modern people would find comfortable required a wide range of knowledge.
It required laying pipes, running wiring, installing waterproofing... and a whole series of other tasks.
They might be skilled at hunting exotic beasts or leading armies, but expecting them to handle this kind of work was clearly outside their area of expertise.
That's not to mention providing the houses with electricity or establishing network coverage...
So, the houses they had erected were merely basic, unfinished shells—skeletons, to be more precise.
